Dr. Myriam Spears, D.O.
Pediatrics
Dr. Spears received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from University of Medicine & Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Spears is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Spears provided primary healthcare services for children ages 0-21 years at Newark Community Health Centers, Inc.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Osteopathic Association, and National Honor Society of Collegiate Scholars. She is licensed as Doctor of Osteopathy-NJ, and holds the following certificates – Basic Life Support (BLS), Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Dr. Spears speaks English, Haitian Creole, and conversational French.
