Description

Under the direction of the Health Services Manager or Clinical Department Supervisor, the Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will perform supportive services as needed for the health care providers and nursing clinicians in the care of ambulatory care patients. The PCT or CMA will work in accordance with the policies and procedures established by Metropolitan Family Health Network, Inc.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assist Program; completion of CCMA National Certification exam, High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous physician's office or hospital experience preferred, as are excellent computer skills, 1-2 years of ambulatory care experience, and Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Opening are in the Adult Medicine departments as well as the Special Populations center located at Bergen Ave.
