Dr. Lynne J. Acierno, M.D.

Clinical Director for Department of Medicine

A native of Washington, D.C., Dr. Lynne Acierno is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who has been on staff at Metropolitan Family Health Network since we were established in 2006. Here, she is responsible for the overall operation of our Internal Medicine Department.

After graduating cum laude from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts where she was a Sarah Williston Scholar, Dr. Acierno went on to attain her medical degree at State University of New York Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, New York and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in the Department of Hematology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Aceirno has more than 25 years experience in Internal Medicine, having worked at the Outer East Side Health Clinic (Division of Erie County Medical Center) in Buffalo and North Jersey Medical Group in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She served as the Chief of Internal Medicine at the Jersey City Family Health Center from 1988 to 2006. 

Dr. Acierno and her husband, Dr. Douglas Bradley reside in New Jersey.
