Dr. Saquiba Syed, M.D., F.A.C.P., M.B.A
Dr. Syed received her medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. She went on to serve an Internal Medicine residency at Seton Hall University. In 2013 Dr. Syed earned an Executive MBA from Rutgers Business School. She is specially trained in serving the LGBT community and people living with HIV and AIDS. Dr. Syed is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Certified Medical Review Officer.
Since 2010, she has held the position Medical Director/Founding Member at Alpine Medical Associates. Prior to joining Metropolitan Family Health Network, Dr. Syed served as: Medical Director at Hospice Comfort Care of NJ, Inc.; Physician Advisor, Quality Assurance Administration at Hoboken Medical Center; President, Advanced Health Care Services P.C; Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair; and Associate Medical Director at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark.
Throughout the years, she has been the recipient of numerous awards for professional, academic and community-related accomplishments.
A resident of Jersey City, Dr. Syed speaks English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, Panjabi and Urdu. She is a member of the Hudson County Mental Health Board and Eastern International College Board of Directors.
