Family Nurse Practitioner

Nathalie Guzman, a Board-Certified, Family Nurse Practitioner, was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree (magna cum laude) in computer science from Caldwell College. Always wanting to pursue a career in health care, Ms. Guzman earned her  Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Dentistry and Medicine, where she was an Honors Scholar. She received her clinical training at University Hospital, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital (Passaic), Essex County Hospital Center, Cross Roads (Clifton), and other public and private sites.

In addition to her work with MFHN, she provides patient assessments and care at Hudson County Department of Corrections and at Project Live (East Orange). She was previously employed as a Claims Adjudicator for the State of New Jersey Division of Disability, and was a Youth Counselor at Children’s Aid & Family Services (Paramus).

Ms. Guzman is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honors Society. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish and Creole.
